...Sharing the love of Christ

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We know how difficult the transition is from childhood to adult. Over 80% of all children who grow up in church leave the church when they graduate high school. This startling statistic shows how poorly churches have helped children personalize their faith beyond the convictions of their parents. We don't have any magic answers here at Midway. What we do have is a desire to challenge students with the majesty of God's word; the depth of holiness found in God's character and how our greatest purpose is to find satisfaction in Him for the good of all people.
We have two youth Sunday School classes divided by grade: 7th through 8th grade and 9th through 12th grade. These classes meet downstairs and are led by church members who love working with and encouraging teenagers in the own personal walks with the Lord Jesus. Young adults from 18 through 29 meet upstairs for Bible study and prayer.
This is our Sunday evening study for the youth of the church. They are currently going through the study "How Now Shall We Live?", a study that examines the changed life we should be living as a result of God's salvation in our hearts.
Any member of our church who serves in any leadership capacity over children (anyone under 18) has been cleared by a criminal background check. It is our sincerest desire to provide a warm, loving, safe environment where children are nurtured in the love of the Lord.
